On Tuesday, October 6 the Ladies Golf Association had a Play for Pink event raising funds for LumpToLaughter.org. Lump to Laughter is a local breast cancer awareness group, providing community and comfort to those going through the same struggle that its founders did. The organization was created by two friends who walked through the journey of breast cancer together. Early in the process, the ladies decided they would turn this experience into triumph and help others. During the Play for Pink golf event, ladies purchased mulligans and made donations. The LGA raised more than $1200 for Lump to Laughter! Thank you so much for everyone’s support and generosity. We hope this makes a difference for ladies in the Wilmington, NC community.
